The short version
You don't need to be careful with it. That is the point of PVD-plated steel — it is built to be worn constantly.
- Shower, swim, sweat, sleep. All fine.
- It will not tarnish, rust, or turn your skin green.
- Nickel-free and hypoallergenic.
To keep it bright
Wipe with the cloth included in your order. If it needs more, warm water and a drop of washing-up liquid, then dry it. That's it.
Two things to avoid: harsh chemicals like bleach or oven cleaner, and abrasive polishes or jewellery dips — those are made for solid gold and silver, and will scratch a plated finish.
Storing
Keep pieces from scratching each other by storing them separately, in the pouch they arrived in.
Satin and vegan leather
Satin: machine wash cool, hang to dry. Vegan leather: wipe with a damp cloth, keep out of prolonged damp.
